Plans to transform former medical centre into home get go-ahead | Roscommon Herald

Plans to transform a former medical centre in South Roscommon into a home have been given the go-ahead by Roscommon County Council. Applicant Ronnie Byrne has been granted planning permission for the change of use of the former HSE building in Brideswell into a residential dwelling with internal revisions and a single storey extension to the rear. The plans also include revisions to the front façade which will include the construction of a new porch, and an upgrade of the existing wastewater treatment system with all associated site development works. The drawings on the planning file show that the new home will have four bedrooms. The former purpose built health centre is located just outside Brideswell village on the R362 Tuam Road, approximately 12km west of Athlone.
